Reminiscent of timepieces used by ships in ages past, this elegant wooden box, with a matte mahogany finish, beautifully displays a clock viewable through the circular glass window on top of the box. When the brass-hinged lid is lifted, the clock raises to an easily viewable angle.The white clock face is framed by a brushed brass bezel and has black Roman numerals and hands. The outside of the box features carved hand-grips on the sides and round brass feet on the underside corners. The clock is battery operated. The box measures 5-3/4" x 5-3/4" x 3-1/2" high when closed and 8-1/4" high when opened. The clock face measures 2-3/8" in diameter.
