Created in the late 1890's by Czech Art Nouveau artist, Alphonse Mucha, this stunning illustration originally decorated a poster advertising a liqueur made by a Parisian distillery. A halo-like gilt medallion serves as the backdrop for the graceful woman with the wistful expression, who is adorned with pink lilies cascading from her hair and from the bouquet that she embraces. The "La Trappistine" paperweight is packaged in a satin-lined presentation box that includes information about the artist. The paperweight measures 3" in diameter x 1-1/2" high. (Item #2634)
