Everything about this stately musical egg is regal, from the royal purple velvet base; to the rich, burgundy enamel egg; to the golden beads, golden braid and sparkling crystal trim; and the golden crown topping the egg. Carved into the sides of the goose egg are three hinged doors shaped like knights' shields, edged with golden braid and decorated with regal medallions. Lower the doors to reveal the princely nutcracker, draped in a floor-length, royal robe, with a crown on his head and sword in one hand. The nutcracker prince rotates as the tune "The Nutcracker March" plays. 6" high x 2-1/2" in diameter.
