With a glossy, lacquered finish, the box is made of dark brown, burled wood with ebony-colored trim around the edges. When the lid is lifted, the box plays the theme from the movie, "Love Story. The interior is lined with ivory-colored, plush velvet and has a compartment for jewelry, as well as a compartment displaying the musical movement. Protective felt feet pad the underside of the box. 7" wide x 6-1/2" deep x 2-1/4" high.
