Produced by a company renowned for creating leather jackets, gloves, and helmets for pilots in WWI and WWII, as well as for Admiral Byrd's expedition to the Antarctic, this leather satchel/briefcase is hand crafted with special attention to detail and regard for longevity. The front flap securely closes with metal, push-button snaps underneath two straps on the front flap of the satchel. The depth of the satchel may be adjusted by tightening or loosening the straps using the the antiqued brass buckles. Made of brown, textured leather resembling the leather of old-time flight jackets, the interior of the satchel is lined with sturdy, taupe fabric imprinted with sketches of propeller airplanes. Three gusseted interior compartments provide space for storing a laptop computer, writing tablets, calculators and other business essentials. The compartments include pockets for cell-phone, palm pilot, and pens, as well as a large zippered compartment for protecting important documents. Includes a removable, padded, laptop computer holder with velcro closures and front pockets for removable disks.
